Horton. The plant is located in Coushatta, La, Which is forty five miles south of Shreveport. The company specializes in the production of meat pies, crawfish pies, and other delicious frozen food products. The production facility is a state of the art facility with over twelve thousand square feet in the plant. The operation is fully inspected by the USDA, FDA and other regulatory agencies. Approximately forty employees take great pride in the quality and consistency of the products they produce. Thirteen food brokerage firms located in 8 states with over forty distributors located throughout the south make these products available to millions of consumers. The meat pie began as a staple in many homes in central Louisiana and from these humble beginnings came a company with production capacity of over sixty thousand pies per day. Last year over eight million pies were shipped from the plant. The full sized four ounce pie is the perfect fit for restaurants, convenience stores, sports arenas, hospitals, schools and just about any place where quality food is served.
